It's no secret - I like to bake.
I like to bake a lot. If anything I think 90% of my time is spent either baking or thinking about it. My bookmarks are ridiculous, I must have about 100 for cakes, cookies and sweet lovely baked goods (and a few savoury, but mostly sweet), and alongside that I have a food-porn blog, and follow about fifteen baking blogs.
All  lists are growing by the day.
So with that in mind, I decided that maybe it was about time to start my own baking blog. By no means do I have professional intentions with baking - I don't especially think I'm that good at it - but baking and cooking feels like something that's in my blood, something I associate with some of the people I love most in this world, and integral to both my family, my history, and, well, me.
Also I just enjoy it. I love baking for other people - I love it. It stops me completely losing my mind too, which is reason enough to keep going.

But anyway. I thought of a lot I could say in this post, but really I just wanted a small introduction to this blog. I'm not sure where it'll lead or how long it'll last, but I'm looking forward to sharing my adventures with whoever reads this.
